At iPify, a fast-growing company, we are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our journey. As part of our accounting team, you will provide key support to the accounting team in day-to-day activities and during closing periods. Your work will embrace both sides of our financial flows: incoming from our service providers, and outgoing to our clients, financial partners and public institutions.

We are a small, committed team of 60 people, led by seasoned intellectual property (IP) professionals, building an ambitious and fully self-funded project in a niche market. Working with clients around the world, we tackle the unique challenges of IP data and turn them into real opportunities to help. At the heart of everything we do is a simple goal: making life easier for IP professionals, supporting their business management, legal workflows and financial processes every step of the way. Your expertise will help us grow a collaborative, service-driven B2B ecosystem built around their needs.

Your role

You’ll take part in a varied mix of accounting activities, including:

• Performing PI vs PO controls, processing invoices, and working with our internal Operations team to resolve any queries or discrepancies
• Communicating with service providers on document conformity and service billing
• Carrying out third-party account reconciliations and managing the vendor payment process
• Following up on aged balances, sending payment reminders and supporting cash collection
• Performing bank reconciliations
• Supporting month-end and year-end closing, including journal entries, account reconciliations and VAT return preparation

Who you will work with

You won’t be working in a silo — accounting sits at the crossroads of the company, and you’ll regularly collaborate with:

• Engineering, to help design robust and scalable solutions
• Operations and Legal, to improve how we handle legal and financial data
• Product, to align on priorities and the scope of deliverables

What we are looking for :

• 1-3 years of experience in accounting (internships included)
• An analytical mind and strong attention to detail
• Clear, friendly communication skills
• A proven ability to meet deadlines
• An organised, process-minded approach and a genuine willingness to learn
• A good level of spoken and written English
• A good knowledge of Excel

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of French GAAP
• a bachelor’s or master’s degree (or local equivalent) in Accounting or Finance
• Previous experience in an IP or service provider company
• Familiarity with Metabase
