Our client, one of Europe's fastest growing manufacturing companies, develops advanced opto-electronic and embedded products, including image sensors and state of the art infrared cameras used in research, industry, aerospace, and defense.

We are looking for an experienced Electronics Systems Engineer to become a systems level expert for infrared camera systems take ownership for successfull product transition from R&D to Operations.

This role requires direct experience with the industrialization of embedded hardware devices. It is not a general IT systems, software-only or production process engineering position.

Your responsibilities

  • Become the system-level expert for assigned products and provide second-line technical support to Operations, Field Application Engineers and customers.
  • Own the product-readiness process and drive the successful transfer of assigned products from R&D into Operations.
  • Support initial product builds and pilot manufacturing, identify industrialization risks and confirm product readiness before scaling.
  • Define and monitor a formal “Definition of Done” with R&D, Test & Measurement, Production Engineering and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure products are fully validated, documented and ready for manufacturing, including calibration methods, troubleshooting guidelines and product-level work instructions.
  • Investigate design-related issues, perform root-cause analysis and coordinate workarounds, corrective actions or minor design improvements.

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree in electronics, physics or another relevant technical discipline.
  • At least four years of relevant engineering experience
  • Direct industrialization or NPI experience involving embedded hardware devices.
  • Knowledge of electronics / hardware / embedded engineering is required. Experience with camera or sensor systems is an advantage.
  • Hands‑on experience with product validation, debugging, root‑cause analysis and technical troubleshooting.
  • Structured and autonomous working style, strong cross‑functional communication skills and professional proficiency in English.
