As a Data Architect, you will play a key role in shaping and evolving a modern Data & Analytics platform. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data teams and IT colleagues to build a future-proof data landscape that supports reporting, analytics and AI initiatives.
Your Responsibilities
- Design and maintain a scalable enterprise data architecture.
- Lead the evolution of modern data platforms and lakehouse environments.
- Define data architecture standards, governance principles and best practices.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, BI Specialists and business stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into robust data solutions.
- Guide data integration, modelling and platform modernization initiatives.
- Contribute hands-on to the implementation of key architectural components.
- Ensure performance, scalability and data quality across the platform.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Business Informatics or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Warehousing or Analytics platforms.
- Strong expertise in data modelling methodologies such as Dimensional Modelling and Data Vault.
- Excellent SQL knowledge.
- Experience with Python or another programming language.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms and analytics solutions.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Databricks
- Power BI
- Ability to bridge technical and business requirements.
- Fluent in Dutch or French with a good command of English.
