The Process Engineer is responsible for developing, optimising and ensuring efficient production processes, whilst striving to achieve an optimal balance between people, machinery and methods. The focus here is on both existing production processes and the implementation of new products and SKUs.

The role involves actively analysing production data and processes with the aim of achieving cost savings, increasing efficiency and optimising output. Based on these analyses, the Process Engineer develops concrete improvement projects and oversees their implementation within the production environment.

In addition, the Process Engineer is responsible for drawing up business cases for process improvements, taking into account scope, required resources, timing, potential risks and budgetary impact. You will monitor these projects from concept to implementation and ensure they are properly embedded within the organisation.

The Process Engineer:

  • Identifies and implements improvements relating to costs, efficiency and productivity within production processes
  • Analyses KPIs and translates these into concrete improvement actions for both machines and operators
  • Supports and coaches operators and line leaders in applying optimal production methods and working procedures
  • Plays an active role in the introduction of new products, processes and product changes within the production environment
  • Coordinates production-related activities during the implementation of new SKUs and process adjustments
  • Works closely with various internal departments to ensure the smooth implementation of improvement projects
  • Verifies and certifies product-specific print specifications in accordance with applicable quality standards
  • Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement Voor deze functie wordt gezocht naar een analytische en resultaatgerichte professional met een sterke interesse in procesoptimalisatie binnen een productieomgeving.

De ideale kandidaat beschikt over:

  • Een masterdiploma in een relevante technische richting
  • Ervaring met Lean Six Sigma methodologie (minimaal Green Belt niveau is een sterke troef)
  • Ervaring binnen een productie- of industriële omgeving
  • Ervaring met relevante softwaretoepassingen voor procesanalyse en rapportering
  • Ervaring in projectcoördinatie en het opvolgen van verbeterprojecten
  • Goede communicatieve vaardigheden in het Nederlands en Engels
  • Kennis van of ervaring met cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) is een pluspunt
