About the Role
As Accounting Consultant you will support our clients for the following tasks:
- Managing general accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Processing supplier invoices and customer invoices.
- Monitoring accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Performing bank reconciliations and cash management activities.
- Preparing and posting journal entries, accruals, and provisions.
- Assisting with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Preparing VAT returns and other statutory declarations.
- Ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Supporting the preparation of annual financial statements and audit files.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, and finance teams.
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
Required Skills
- 1- 5 of experience in accounting (previous experience in BIG4 is a plus)
- Comfortable working in multi-client environments
- Strong analytical skills and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment
- Fluent in French with professional proficiency in English and/or Dutch.
- Strong command of digital tools, AI and ERP systems; knowledge of Odoo is a plus.
- Leadership, autonomy, entrepreneurial mindset and a strong results-oriented approach.
