Be our NEXT Lead Java Developer

Your responsibilities:

Translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions
Develop new features and maintain, optimise and evolve existing Java applications
Analyse and resolve technical issues in collaboration with other teams
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
Ensure compliance with clean code, SOLID principles and security best practices
Keep technical documentation and best practices up to date
Support software deployment and release management in an on-premise environment
Coach junior and mid-level developers and contribute to knowledge sharing
Participate in 24/7 on-call duty after appropriate training

Your profile:

Knowledge of Java 6/8, JavaFX and Swing is mandatory
Experience working in a Scrum environment
Experience with LeSS, or with multiple teams working from a single backlog, is a strong plus
Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration and initiative skills
Ability to integrate easily into an existing team
Good command of English is mandatory, with fluency in either Dutch or French
Willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call duty after appropriate training

Full-time, with 2 days per week in the office
