Following our recent move to our new office in Antwerp, NX Corporate Finance is entering an exciting phase of expansion. We are looking for a motivated M&A Associate to join our team and contribute to our further development, shoulder to shoulder with all team members. Your contribution is highly valued and visible.

Your role and responsibilities

As an M&A Associate, you will play a central role in the day-to-day execution of live transactions, combining hands-on analytical work with growing client exposure and project responsibility. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of business valuations, financial modelling and data books;
  • Contributing to high-quality pitch decks, investment teasers, information memoranda and management presentations for sell-side, buy-side and debt advisory mandates;
  • Screening potential acquirers, target companies and industries, assessing strategic rationale, financial profiles, and deal feasibility;
  • Providing assistance throughout the entire transaction execution process.

Your profile

Strong technical and analytical skills go hand in hand with an entrepreneurial mindset. A disciplined and ambitious approach, combined with a strong sense of accountability, ensures high-quality work and reliable execution. Alongside these qualities, the ideal candidate brings:

  • A Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field;
  • 2 to 3 years of professional experience in M&A advisory, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Private Equity or Transaction Services;
  • A good understanding of valuation methodologies and financial modelling;
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to produce polished, client-ready deliverables;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English;
  • The ability to leverage AI tools and technology to work efficiently, accelerating research, analysis, and deliverable production without compromising quality.
