We are looking for an experienced HSE Manager to join an industrial insulation project in Belgium

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate HSE activities on site.
Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, legislation and client requirements.
Act as the main HSE contact for Project Management, the Client and contractors.
Conduct site inspections, audits, toolbox talks and HSE meetings.
Identify hazards, review risk assessments and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Monitor HSE performance, investigate incidents and near misses, and drive improvement actions.
Manage HSE documentation, reporting and project KPIs.
Promote a strong safety culture and support HSE Supervisors and site personnel.

Requirements

Proven experience as an HSE Manager on industrial construction projects.
Experience in thermal insulation (hot & cold insulation) is highly preferred.
Valid VCA VOL certification – mandatory.
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken – mandatory.
Good knowledge of HSE regulations and safe working practices.
Knowledge of Belgian HSE legislation and regulations related to the role is highly preferred.
NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Valid EU work authorization / legal eligibility to work in Belgium is mandatory at the time of hiring.

Salary (employees): € 45,000 – € 60,000 gross per year, depending on experience.

Freelance consultants: competitive daily rate to be agreed based on experience.
