Business Analyst for remote and predictive maintenance projects at an energy network operator in Brussels. Dutch, French and English required.
Description
We are looking for a Business Analyst for projects in remote maintenance and predictive maintenance at an energy network operator in Brussels. You capture business needs, model processes and translate them into requirements for the IT teams. You have at least 5 years of experience in this work and you speak Dutch, French and English.
The projects are part of the digital transformation of the department responsible for asset maintenance. Key topics are Industrial IoT, machine-to-machine communication, big data and AI. Besides the classic analyst tasks, you assess new technology, both ICT and hardware (sensors, actuators, smart assets).
- Model business processes and guide the business in redesigning them
- Carry out impact analyses
- Write context diagrams, business domain models and user stories or use cases
- Define the business needs for the IT tools that support these processes
- Challenge the business on its needs and on the to-be processes
- Align requirements between business and IT and validate the functional analysis done by IT
- Guide data quality initiatives and data migrations
- Test and validate releases after implementationWrite training material, train end users and support them after go-live
Your profile
Required:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience capturing and describing business needs
- At least 5 years of experience analysing and modelling business processes
- Dutch, French and English
- Experience modelling the information needs of the business within its processes
- Knowledge of writing and running a test plan
- Experience creating training material for end users
- Strong analytical skills, critical mindset, independent and a team player
- Assertive communication with many different parties
- Good at planning and organisation
Preferred:
- Master's degree, preferably in a technical field, or equivalent through experience
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of IoT, AI or other relevant technologies
- Experience maintaining industrial assets
