About the Role

Our client, a reputable law firm in Welkom , is actively seeking a specialized Property Law Specialist to manage their burgeoning property law division. This role is central to providing expert legal services related to property transactions, developments, and disputes. You will guide clients through complex conveyancing processes, advise on land use rights, and handle property-related litigation. The position requires a deep understanding of property law in the Free State and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to a diverse client base, from individuals to corporate entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of residential and commercial conveyancing transactions.
• Provide legal advice on property development, zoning, and land use regulations.
• Draft and review property sale agreements, lease agreements, and other related documents.
• Manage property dispute resolution and litigation.
• Conduct thorough due diligence on property transactions.
• Maintain strong relationships with estate agents, developers, and financial institutions.

Requirements

• Admitted Attorney with a minimum of 5 years of focused experience in property law .
• Proven expertise in conveyancing, sectional title schemes, and property finance.
• Solid understanding of relevant South African property legislation.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in legal drafting.
• Strong negotiation and client management skills.
