In addition to 'classic' accounting duties, you will also be involved in analytical matters:

• Supporting budgeting and forecasts
• Managing and optimizing internal procedures
• Helping to develop reports for management
• Providing a supporting and advisory role for ad hoc projects

Furthermore, you are ultimately responsible for the accounting of various flows:

• Purely operational tasks (e.g., posting invoices & bank statements) are not part of your responsibilities
• You are, however, responsible for the balance sheet as well as the income statement
• The monthly and annual closes & consolidation fall under your responsibility
• Finally, periodic returns (VAT & Intrastat) are also included in your duties

You have several years of experience (at least 5 years) in accounting & numbers hold no secrets for you

VAT & corporate law do not intimidate you; in fact, you want to delve deeper into these areas

Alongside Dutch, you also speak good English
