BWC is looking for a* Senior Technical Analyst – AML** for its client BNPP Fortis in Brussels, Belgium. It's a full-time permanent contract with BWC. Freelance can also apply.*
Job Type: Hybrid :- 50% Onsite + 50% Teleworking in Belgium.
- Language: Dutch or French is mandatory; English is required.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong knowledge and several years of experience in the AML (Anti-Money Laundering) domain.
- Strong hands-on experience with Netreveal, mainly Scenario Manager.
- Strong experience with SAS Enterprise Guide and writing SAS scripts.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL.
- Experience with SAP BusinessObjects.
- Experience translating AML risk analysis into effective and relevant AML detection scenarios.
- Experience developing, configuring, testing, and deploying AML detection scenarios and scripts.
- Experience using historical data simulations to test and refine scenario logic and validate scenario effectiveness.
- Experience testing AML configurations/scripts in test environments and deploying them to production.
- Monitoring & Aftercare: Experience analysing alert volumes, relevancy rates, and monitoring the effectiveness of AML detection scenarios.
- Experience maintaining audit trails, documenting development processes, and supporting change management activities.
- Ability to collaborate closely with Business Analysts, AML Framework teams, and L1/L2 teams.
- Knowledge of Agile methodology and an Agile mindset, with a strong focus on collaboration, knowledge sharing, adaptability, and continuous improvement.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is a plus.
- Rigorous and methodical approach, strong communication skills, adaptability, and ability to quickly adjust to changing requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and pragmatic approach.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional Agile teams and contribute beyond the primary role when required to achieve team objectives.
- Open to feedback, knowledge sharing, learning, and continuous improvement.
