Cybersecurity Consultant

We are a global critical financial infrastructure company. Security is at the core of the company's services, firmly embedded in their management systems and processes.

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Consultant to strengthen our team in Brussels with experience in one or more of the following areas:

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Security risk assessments, security requirements, process design and management reporting.
  • IAM, PKI, network security and data protection.
  • Application security, OWASP, code scanning and CI/CD security.
  • IDaaS, identity management, secure access management, federation, PKI, cryptography, WAF and endpoint security.
  • Virtualisation, SDN, Cloud IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, network and DMZ infrastructure, VOIP, Wi-Fi, 802.1x, anti-malware, system protection, middleware, collaboration, workspace solutions, storage, databases and infrastructure automation.
  • DLP (Data Loss Prevention) experience is a strong advantage.
  • CISSP, GIAC, SABSA or ISO 27001 certifications are an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Define and advise on security design, implementation and testing.
  • Perform risk assessments and translate policies and controls into security requirements.
  • Contribute to architectural design and validate against security requirements.
  • Define security testing and penetration test scope and support testing teams.
  • Define and implement security services in line with IT security policies.
  • Recommend improvements to security services.
  • Produce security standards, principles and documentation.
  • Act as a security SME across areas such as Mainframe Security, PKI, Network Security, Platform Security, IAM, Application Security or Secure Coding.

Your Profile

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar.
  • 3+ years' cyber security experience; 10+ years for senior profiles.
  • Experience in infrastructure or application security.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Able to work independently and within an international, multicultural environment.
  • Experience within financial services, banking or another highly regulated environment is mandatory.
