What you will do
You will coordinate the rollout of the Microsoft E5 licence for a Belgian public-sector organisation, working closely with the CISO office. Your role is to ensure a secure, well-managed implementation without taking over the executive responsibilities of the IT services or the decision-making authority of the CISO.
Your main tasks include:
- Plan, coordinate and monitor the E5 rollout, tracking progress and dependencies
- Liaise technically with the IT services and follow the implementation closely
- Identify risks, bottlenecks and challenges, and propose control measures
- Monitor configuration, identity and access management, and governance
- Collaborate with stakeholders, with local police forces as a key interested party
- Follow up with the vendor (Microsoft and resellers) and monitor licence usage
- Bridge to follow-up projects such as security-as-a-service initiatives
- Report to the CISO and document decisions and configurations
You will deliver a roadmap and planning for the E5 rollout, periodic progress and risk reports, agreements on configuration and governance, handover documentation from project to operations, and a change and adoption approach.
What we are looking for
You have solid knowledge of:
- Microsoft 365 and E5: core services and their interplay (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Identity and access: Entra ID (Azure AD), conditional access, MFA, and Intune (knowledge of AD, ADFS or SCCM is a plus)
- Security and compliance workloads of E5, and cloud, hybrid and mobile solutions
- Information security and governance, risk and compliance; a broad understanding of NIS 2 and GDPR
- Project and programme coordination, and licence management
You can communicate clearly and switch between technical and non-technical language. You work in a structured, solution-oriented way and document carefully. You are comfortable working independently within a clear framework and have an affinity with the cybersecurity domain and the public-sector context.
You hold a bachelor's or master's degree (for example in computer science or information systems), or equivalent through experience. Microsoft certifications are an asset.
The setting
This assignment runs from mid-October to the end of December 2026. You will be based in Brussels and work in a hybrid setting, combining office and remote work according to team agreements.
You must speak Dutch or French; bilingualism is an advantage. English is required.
