Will you be the new driving force behind financial policy as Manager of the Finance Department? For a renowned international insurance group, we’re looking for an experienced professional who not only has a strong command of numbers but also acts as a business partner to management. You’ll lead a motivated team, optimize financial processes, and have a direct impact on the organization’s growth.

With an attractive salary of up to €7,000 per month and additional benefits such as a company car and hybrid work arrangements, this is your opportunity to continue growing in a dynamic environment.

Important: This position is specifically aimed at candidates with a proven background in insurance finance. Experience outside the insurance sector alone is not sufficient to qualify for this position. For an international insurance group with a solid reputation in the European market and a strong focus on service, we are seeking a Finance Manager who will help shape the organization’s financial policy.

You’ll be working in an environment where entrepreneurship, growth, and professionalization are key priorities. As Finance Manager, you’ll not only be responsible for the numbers but will also play an active role as a business partner to management.

Specifically, you will:

Coach, lead, and develop a finance team.
Oversee and ensure the completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
Be responsible for budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
Provide management with clear financial insights and recommendations.
Further optimize financial processes, reporting, and internal controls.
Serve as the point of contact for auditors, tax partners, and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with financial, tax, and industry-specific regulations.
Actively contribute to strategic projects and the continued growth of the organization.

Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
At least 8 years of relevant experience in finance.
Experience at an insurance company or in another insurance environment characterized by significant financial and regulatory complexity.
Experience with financial reporting, controlling, budgeting, and audit processes.
Strong analytical skills combined with a pragmatic and hands‑on approach.
People manager with a coaching leadership style.
Excellent professional proficiency in both Dutch and French. Applications from candidates who do not possess full professional proficiency in both national languages will not be considered.
