For one of our globally leading tech clients we are urgently looking for an experienced AML/KYC Business Analyst for a long contract based in Brussels, Belgium.

Role Description:

  • Senior Business/Data Analyst supporting an AML initiative, with AML/KYC/compliance familiarity considered a plus. The role involves leading business analysis activities from ideation through delivery, developing business cases, gathering and managing requirements with full traceability, analysing existing data flows, user roles and data usage, identifying data quality issues, and defining target solutions and use cases in collaboration with Product Owners, architects and SMEs. The analyst will support product/performance/UAT testing, contribute to data architecture and solution validation, create reports and dashboards, and act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. Minimum 4 years of relevant experience is required, with the preferred profile being 8–10 years. Strong analytical and structured thinking, problem-solving, communication, negotiation and collaboration skills are essential. The candidate should be proactive, change-oriented, customer-focused and capable of managing multiple stakeholders and priorities.

Business Analysis, Know Your Customer (KYC), PL/SQL, Data Architecture and Modeling

  • Business/Data Analysis and requirements management
  • AML/KYC/compliance familiarity is an advantage
  • Conceptual modelling techniques and methods
  • Strong understanding of data concepts, Big Data, BI, reporting and dashboarding
  • Agile methodologies, including backlog management, sprint planning and MVP mindset
  • Strong stakeholder, project and requirements management
  • Data architecture and modelling
  • Ability to analyse data flows, data usage and data quality issues
  • Experience working with Product Owners, architects and SMEs
  • Strong communication, negotiation and collaboration skills
  • English – strong spoken and written
