Junior HR Business Partner – Region Brussels

For the Belgian headquarters of a renowned international service provider, we are looking for a junior HR Business Partner for a permanent position. In this versatile role, you will be the main point of contact for a population of approximately 220 white‑collar employees. You will combine operational HR responsibilities and also takes ownership of reward & benefits. You will report directly to the HR Manager and work closely with both local and international stakeholders.

Your responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, including coordination with the remote shared service center and follow‑up of HR processes and administration.
  • Manage and optimize employee benefits (group insurance, hospitalization and life insurance, mobility budget, meal vouchers, etc…), including negotiations with external vendors.
  • Ensure clear internal communication regarding benefits and collaborate closely with Finance and regional HR colleagues.
  • Act as a sparring partner for line managers and support employees with a wide range of HR‑related questions.
  • Follow up on evaluation processes, performance and non‑performance trajectories.
  • Actively participate in regional and international HR projects and change initiatives related to topics such as pay transparency, mobility, flexible working, wellbeing, retention and absenteeism.
  • Continuously optimize HR processes and update HR policies in line with legislation and business objectives.

Your profile:

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist within a white‑collar environment is essential.
  • Experience with employee benefits and negotiations/collaboration with external vendors is a plus.
  • Experience with Workday is a plus.
  • Dutch and/or French with an excellent command of English.
  • Good knowledge of social legislation.
  • A background in payroll and/or drafting and updating HR policies is a plus.
  • Analytical, well‑organized, communicative and proactive.
  • Eager to take ownership of projects and deepen your expertise across various HR domains.
