As we expand our project team, we are looking for a driven EIA Engineer (Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation). In this role, you will design, engineer, and commission electrical and automation systems within our projects — from configuring the control system to the underlying electrical infrastructure.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • You develop and modify PLC and SCADA software, primarily using Siemens PCS 7.
  • You design electrical installations, including transformers, switchgear, motor control panels, and automation cabinets.
  • You prepare electrical schematics, loop diagrams, and cable lists, and review existing documentation.
  • You select and specify field instrumentation and further develop control loops.
  • You translate functional requirements into practical, reliable electrical and automation solutions.
  • You contribute to the technical development and follow-up of projects, from design through to execution.
  • You support the commissioning and start-up of installations and help ensure a smooth implementation.
  • You collaborate with operations, maintenance, project teams, and external partners to deliver technical solutions efficiently.
  • You help ensure the technical quality, safety, and compliance of the completed installations.

Your profile:

  • You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in electromechanics, automation, or a comparable technical field.
  • Preferably, you have 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial projects or a similar technical environment.
  • You have demonstrable experience with Siemens PCS 7 and PLC programming.
  • You have knowledge of low- and medium-voltage installations and relevant standards.
  • You have knowledge of field instrumentation, control loops, and industrial automation.
  • You are analytical, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a project-based environment.
  • You are fluent in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
  • You have an interest in or experience with OT/IT infrastructure, such as industrial network architecture, switches, servers, and virtualization.
  • Knowledge of OT security and securing connections between production systems and corporate networks is a plus.

What we offer:

  • A challenging position within a dynamic company, with a family-oriented and flat organizational culture where initiative, collaboration, and team spirit are encouraged.
  • A permanent employment contract with a competitive salary package and attractive fringe benefits, including hospitalization insurance for you and your family members, group insurance, meal vouchers, and a company car with charging card.
  • Opportunities for professional development and training.
