Field Sales Internship

Are you passionate about food and interested in sales?

Savencia Fromage & Dairy Benelux is looking for a Field Sales Intern to join our commercial team.

During this internship, you will represent well-known cheese brands such as Chavroux, Caprice des Dieux, St Môret and Passendale in the Belgian retail market. You will gain hands-on experience in field sales and learn how strong brands are developed and activated in stores.

• Act as a Product and Brand Ambassador by achieving optimal distribution and enhancing brand visibility in your sector.
• Support resale efforts by securing promotions and using marketing tools to support product resale.
• Ensure commercial agreements are correctly applied and collaborate on product placements.
• Manage and optimize resources, with a focus on profitability and efficient use of resources.
• Propose and monitor targeting strategies.
• Manage your activities efficiently and follow the sector coverage plan.
• Communicate and conduct competitive intelligence by sharing information on products, clients, competition and company updates.

What profile are we looking for?

• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s background in economics, management, sales, marketing, commercial engineering or a related field, or relevant previous experience in a similar commercial role.
• You have a passion for the food industry and a strong interest in sales.
• You are rigorous, logical, curious and methodical, with a strong sense of organisation.
• You are dynamic and proactive, and you communicate easily with both internal and external contacts.
• You are comfortable using the Microsoft Office 365 environment.
• You are fluent in French.
