On-Site Coordinator

Client Description

Our client, a prestigious museum located in Etterbeek, is looking to strengthen its visitor services team with several On-Site Coordinators & Visitor Services Officers.

This position combines operational coordination responsibilities with front-line visitor services in an international and multicultural environment. Successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations while delivering a high-quality experience to visitors.

Job Description

• Coordinate and oversee day-to-day on-site operations.
• Supervise and support visitor-facing staff throughout the day.
• Act as a first point of contact for operational issues and service-related requests.
• Ensure compliance with service standards, procedures, and visitor experience requirements.
• Assist with scheduling, workflow coordination, and team support.
• Handle operational challenges efficiently and professionally.
• Welcome, assist, and guide visitors when required.
• Contribute to a positive, professional, and inclusive environment for visitors and colleagues alike.

Candidate Profile

What profile are we looking for?

Professional Experience

Applicants must demonstrate:

• A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in team leadership, coordination, or staff supervision.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in visitor-facing services, customer service, hospitality, tourism, cultural institutions, public services, or operational support activities.

Education

• Successfully completed at least an undergraduate university degree (Bachelor's degree or equivalent).

Language Requirements

Candidates must have:

• Excellent command of English and French, with:
  • C1 level in one language; and
  • B2 level in the other.

In addition, candidates must have B2 level or higher in at least one of the following languages:

• Dutch
• German
• Spanish
• Italian
• Polish
