Hoboken Antwerpen | Senior System Engineer

Our IT team is part of the Yonderland group. The Yonderland group runs over 190 shops in Belgium, Luxembourg, France, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands, as well as eCommerce sites for every brand in the group, which makes us the largest premium outdoor retailer in Europe.

Our brands include Cotswold Outdoor, Runnersneed, Snow+Rock, Bever, AS Adventure, Juttu and Ayacucho.

Within our IT department, the IT Systems Operations (SysOps) team designs, builds and runs the infrastructure behind all those brands: the datacenter and virtualised server platform, the network that connects head offices, the distribution centre and stores in several countries, and our Microsoft 365 environment.

We are looking for a senior system engineer who is an expert in Microsoft 365 and identity, or in networking, and who is comfortable in the other half of that world. You will be a go‑to person for complex problems and help us modernise a large, mostly Windows‑based estate.

• Run and improve our core platform: a mostly virtualised Windows Server and Active Directory environment, plus Citrix for application delivery.
• Microsoft 365 and identity: Entra ID, Intune and Autopilot, Exchange Online, MFA and Windows Hello, and SharePoint/Teams governance.
• Network and connectivity: switching, Wi‑Fi and WAN across offices, distribution centre and stores (Ruckus), firewalls and VPN, and the rollout of network access control.
• Keep it recoverable and secure: backup and restore with Veeam and AvePoint (Microsoft 365), regular restore tests, patching, hardening and vulnerability follow‑up together with our security team.
• Monitor and measure: Zabbix and log tooling to track performance, patch levels and certificates, so you can recommend upgrades before they become urgent.
• Automate: replace repetitive work with PowerShell, Jenkins pipelines and setting up the Power Automate platform.
• Support our support: assist the Helpdesk with complex end‑user problems, and leave documentation behind that makes the next ticket easier.

Je uitrusting

• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience as a System Engineer, ideally in a medium to large environment.
• Solid knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory (GPO, DNS, certificates/PKI).
