We are supporting our client in the search for a Security Solution Architect with deep Cryptography expertise to join its Global Technology Services (GTS) division.
This role offers the opportunity to shape enterprise-wide security architecture within a highly regulated financial environment while leading strategic initiatives focused on cryptography, PKI, crypto agility and future-ready security capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise security architectures aligned with business and technology strategies.
- Provide security guidance across infrastructure, applications, cloud and platform environments.
- Define architecture principles, standards and best practices for cryptography-related initiatives.
- Support the adoption of secure technologies and emerging security capabilities.
- Translate business requirements and risk assessments into architecture requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design secure solutions for new platforms and applications.
- Evaluate architecture options and recommend build, buy or hybrid approaches.
- Identify security gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Act as the subject matter expert for cryptography and related technologies.
- Participate in governance, architecture review and strategic planning activities.
Qualifications & Skills
- 10+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Security or Enterprise Architecture.
- Strong understanding of:
- Cryptography
- PKI
- Key Management
- Crypto Agility
- Knowledge of network protocols and authentication mechanisms.
- Experience working across infrastructure, security, cloud and application domains.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Professional English mandatory.
Nice-to-Have
- TOGAF, SABSA, CISSP, CCSP or similar certifications.
- Experience within Financial Services or Critical Infrastructure environments.
- Cloud Security expertise.
