The Opportunity
As a First Officer on the Boeing 747‑8, you will operate long‑haul cargo flights across a global network, contribute to punctual and safe operations, and represent a dynamic airline within a major logistics group.
What You’ll Do
- Participate actively in flight briefings and maintain full awareness of all flight specifics.
- Assist in delivering on-time performance and operational excellence.
- Address operational issues in consultation with the Captain, following company procedures.
- Uphold safety and security standards throughout all phases of flight.
- Act as a company ambassador, promoting Air Belgium values and teamwork.
- Operate the Boeing 747‑8 on international cargo routes.
- Perform other duties aligned with company objectives within your competencies.
What You’ll Bring
- License: Valid EASA CPL or ATPL.
- Type Rating: Valid B747 type rating.
- IR: Valid Instrument Rating.
- Experience: Minimum 1,500 hours on B737/B747/B757/B767/B777/B787.
- Heavy Aircraft Time: Minimum 2,000 hours on aircraft with MTOW > 44 tonnes.
- Language: ELP Level 5 or higher.
- Work Authorization: Right to live and work in Belgium.
- Medical/Travel: Valid health-related certificates required to enter territories served by Air Belgium.
- All ratings and endorsements must be present on your EASA license.
