Role Description The OEM Technician – Quality and Administration is a full-time, on-site role based in Bornem. This position is responsible for performing technical inspections and basic troubleshooting on OEM equipment, documenting quality findings, and ensuring adherence to relevant ISO and regulatory standards. The role includes organizing and updating service records, processing work orders, and maintaining accurate administrative documentation to support depot repair and field service activities. The technician collaborates with quality, logistics, and customer care teams to coordinate equipment handling, track service status, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Daily tasks also involve following standardized procedures, reporting nonconformities, and contributing to a safe, organized, and compliant work environment.
Qualifications

  • Technical and quality skills: experience with technical equipment handling, basic diagnostics, quality control checks, and familiarity with ISO or similar quality standards.
  • Administrative and documentation skills: ability to manage work orders, maintain accurate service logs, prepare reports, and handle data entry with attention to detail.
  • Organizational and coordination skills: strong time management, ability to prioritize tasks, coordinate with logistics and service teams, and follow structured workflows.
  • Communication and collaboration skills: clear written and verbal communication, ability to interact with internal teams and OEM partners, and a customer-focused mindset.
  • General qualifications: secondary or technical diploma in electronics, engineering, or a related field; prior experience in a technical service, depot, or quality environment is an advantage.
  • Additional beneficial skills: knowledge of healthcare or life science equipment, familiarity with ERP or ticketing systems, basic computer literacy (MS Office), and proficiency in English and local language.
