Senior Software/DevOps Engineer M/W/X

Alpaflow is an ¿IT integration and research¿ company. We provide our customers with services in the fields we love and excel in: software and hardware development, operational technology, IoT, data systems and data analysis. Alpaflow's new big projects for 2026 focus on providing data services and products to the industrial sector (¿connected factories to re-industrialise Europe¿).

The project

Alpaflow is currently pushing the productivity of our industrial base in Belgium and Europe.This requires innovative people and teams helping our national treasures to be more competitive in these uncertain times.

We also operatean R&D division researching new ways to control robots and manufacturing systems.

Alpaflow is seeking an enthusiasticmind to develop and integrate complex software stacks.

You will participate in the design and shipping of data processing products, manufacturing systems or IoT solutions for our industrial clients.

We promise: it won't involve a cheap ChatGPT integration to check the ¿LLM powered¿ box in a marketing description ;)

Profil

Requirements

• You like to work in anindustrial ecosystem,or you are eager to discover it.
• Master's degreein engineering or computer sciences (or equivalent experience).
  You have 5+ years ofexperience building and shipping software projects.
• You like your users, you like meeting them and learning from them.
• You have several years of experience using Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Linux, Git, Networking, AWS or GCP.
• You know a high-level programming language (Python, Go, Java, R...), SQL and are willing to learn Python.
• Creative spirit/hacker, you like doing things by yourself.
• Fluency inFrench and English is required.

Nice to have

• industrial software development or integration.
• You know how to use a machine learning framework (eg. Pytorch).
• You worked with manufacturing or energy data systems. You know what a manufacturing operations management solution, a unified namespace or a warehouse management system is.
• Knowledge of Clickhouse, Django or Flask, Gitlab, streaming and batch data processing.
• Previous experience of data analysis with Jupyter/Pandas...

• You can work from anywhere in Belgium.
• You pay a visit to our office in Brussels (Ixelles) from time to time (~1 day/week). If you prefer, you can work there on the other days too.
• You'll have to move from client site to client site, in the zone located between Nivelles, Louvain-la-Neuve and Liège, sometimes several times a week.
