As a Quality Engineer / Quality Coordinator, you will support a major project for a key player in the Belgian energy landscape. You will help develop and implement a practical Quality Management framework while supporting supplier quality, inspections, technical documentation and non-conformity follow-up for high-voltage equipment and primary systems.
Your main responsibilities:
- Quality Management: Develop and implement quality processes, tools and guidelines in collaboration with internal and Elia Group stakeholders.
- Supplier Quality: Support factory qualifications, audits, quality control plans and supplier performance monitoring.
- Inspections & Testing: Coordinate external inspectors and follow up on Factory and Site Acceptance Tests (FAT/SAT).
- Non-Conformities: Facilitate the follow-up of non-conformities and action plans based on Return of Experience (REX).
- Quality Reporting: Develop quality dashboards and monitor relevant KPIs.
- Document Management: Organize and maintain technical documentation and data using tools such as SharePoint, eDoc, HyperTree and InfraRef.
- Process Management: Map and maintain internal processes using flowcharts, SIPOC, BPMN and other process tools.
Your profile
We are looking for a structured, proactive and communicative professional with an affinity for quality and process management.
You have:
- A technical or engineering degree, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with quality management and supplier follow-up.
- Experience with business process mapping is an advantage.
- Experience with high-voltage equipment or primary systems is a strong plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- A structured approach and attention to technical detail.
- Good command of English.
- Knowledge of Dutch and/or French is strongly preferred.
- Willingness to travel to ETB installations in Belgium and suppliers across Europe.
