The Team

The Tribe Finance & Reporting supports Finance and Reporting teams by delivering robust data, systems, and reporting solutions within a complex and evolving regulatory environment. The Tribe plays a key role in enabling accurate and compliant reporting across domains such as Financial Reporting, Liquidity Reporting, Analytical Reporting, Deposit Guarantee Scheme (DGS), AnaCredit, and CICR.

About the role

As a Business Analyst Regulatory Reporting , you act as the bridge between business and technology. While the role has a strong technical and data-oriented focus , success in this position requires a solid understanding of the regulatory reporting processes and regulatory context, enabling you to effectively translate business needs into data and system solutions.

A key focus area of the role is supporting the transformation of the reporting landscape , including the migration from an existing data warehouse to a modern public cloud-based data platform. In this context, you ensure continuity, consistency, and quality of data while aligning local Belgian reporting requirements with group-wide standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business needs and regulatory requirements into detailed data definitions, mappings, and functional specifications
  • Analyse and document required data elements, data lineage, and business rules
  • Ensure alignment between local Belgian reporting requirements and group data models
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of data solutions within the reporting platform
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and IT teams to ensure accurate and consistent data delivery
  • Support testing activities by defining test cases, reviewing data outputs, and ensuring quality standards are met
  • Maintain documentation of data mappings, definitions, and reporting processes

How to succeed

  • Holding a master’s degree in (business) economics or a comparable field ;
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in a change delivery role ;
  • Working knowledge on any data driven reporting and/or hands-on experience in data granular reporting is a plus ;
  • Ability to read & interpret regulatory documentation, reporting policies & IT-instructions ;
  • Having hands on proficient level of experience on SQL, Cognos, and Power BI ;
  • Fluent in English. Dutch and/or French is a plus.
