\"Hyatt is a place of learning – similar to a university. The company offers so many ways for me to learn and grow, both professionally and personally.\"

Opened in May 2025, The Standard, Brussels marks an exciting new chapter for The Standard as our third European property. Located in the city's vibrant Northern Quarter, the hotel brings our signature blend of bold design, culture and unconventional hospitality to the heart of Belgium's capital.

With 180 guestrooms, 20 residences, a striking greenhouse-style lobby, vibrant dining and bar experiences, and a rooftop restaurant, bar and garden, The Standard, Brussels is a destination where food, music, art and culture come together. Playful, sophisticated and always unexpected, it's anything but standard.

Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes of one of Europe's most exciting lifestyle hotels? Here's your chance to find out. We're looking for a Sales Intern who's ready to bring fresh energy, creativity and a passion for connecting with people to our team. From discovering new business opportunities to helping create unforgettable events and experiences, this is your chance to gain real experience and be part of something extraordinary.

Your role

As our Sales Intern, you'll join our dynamic Sales team, gaining hands‑on experience in the commercial side of a vibrant lifestyle hotel. Working alongside our Director of Sales and wider commercial team, you'll discover how we build relationships, develop new business and bring The Standard's unique experiences to life for our clients.

You'll support a range of sales activities, from researching potential corporate and MICE clients, identifying new business opportunities and analysing market trends to preparing proposals, presentations, contracts and responses to client enquiries and RFPs. You'll also help maintain our CRM system, prepare sales reports and support the organisation of sales activities, familiarisation trips and client events.

You'll have the opportunity to participate in client meetings, hotel site inspections and sales presentations, while working closely with our Events team to understand how we turn enquiries into memorable experiences.

This isn't your typical internship. You'll gain exposure to the exciting world of hotel sales, events and business development, learn from experienced commercial professionals and discover how creativity, relationships and smart commercial thinking come together to drive success.

We're looking for someone with personality, curiosity and enthusiasm. Someone who loves connecting with people, enjoys spotting opportunities and isn't afraid to share ideas, take initiative and embrace the unexpected. After all, we're anything but standard.
