Delivery Manager Insurance

Your Role

As a Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of complex transformation initiatives across the insurance value chain, combining deep insurance knowledge with strong delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale insurance transformation programs, managing end-to-end delivery across business and technology teams.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, helping them navigate strategic challenges related to digital transformation, core system modernization, customer experience, operational excellence, data, AI, and regulatory evolution.
• Drive delivery excellence by establishing strong governance, risk management, quality controls, financial oversight, and execution disciplines.
• Manage program budgets, commercial performance, and overall delivery profitability (P&L responsibility).
• Build, lead, and inspire multidisciplinary teams across onshore and offshore locations, creating a high-performance culture focused on client value.
• Ensure successful delivery of transformational initiatives across key insurance domains, including:
  • Life Insurance
  • Non-Life / P&C Insurance
  • Claims Management
  • Policy Administration
  • Distribution & Broker Management
  • Employee Benefits & Group Insurance
  • Customer Service & Operations
• Collaborate with client executives and Accenture leadership to define transformation roadmaps and strategic priorities.
• Support business development activities, including client pursuits, proposals, RFP responses, account growth initiatives, and thought leadership.
• Contribute to the continued growth of Accenture's Insurance Technology practice by coaching talent, building capabilities, and bringing market insights and innovation to our clients.

Your Background

We're looking for a seasoned delivery leader who combines strong insurance expertise with a proven track record of leading large-scale technology and business transformations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading complex IT and business transformation programs within the insurance industry.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products, processes, and operating models across one or more insurance domains:
  • Life Insurance
  • Non-Life / P&C Insurance
  • Employee Benefits / Group Insurance
  • Claims
  • Policy Administration
• Proven experience delivering large transformation programs involving core systems, digital platforms, cloud, data, AI, or operational transformation.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with executive and C-level client stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience managing large budgets, commercial delivery, and program governance.
• Deep understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and modern software delivery practices.
• Experience leading geographically distributed teams in complex delivery environments.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with experience contributing to sales, proposals, practice development, and market growth.
• Excellent communication skills in English and good command of Dutch and/or French.
