Our hotel
Hotel Amigo is set among the cobbled streets of Brussels, just around the corner from the picturesque Grand Place, one of the most beautiful squares in the world. A former prison, it became a hotel in 1957, just in time to host royals, celebrities and VIPs for the Brussels World's Fair. Although much has changed since then, we remain true to our name - our team is friendly, warm and waiting to greet you.
As a technician you will play a key role in the day-to-day activities of the technical department.
Your key responsibilities
Rocco Forte Hotels are a collection of iconic hotels that respects the individuality of location and its team members, encouraging them to be their natural selves while providing a local, authentic experience to our guests.
As a valued part of the Forte family, you will:
- Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on electrical, mechanical, and sanitary installations.
- Carry out maintenance activities, including greasing, cleaning or replacing spare parts, painting, carpentry, etc
- Resolve breakdowns or defects, or call upon the external technical service when necessary
- Discuss the required repair or replacement work with the relevant managers
- Cooperate well with colleagues in own team and across departments
- Provide discreet, professional, and timely service, consistently going the extra mile to meet operational needs
