At ARGON Measuring Solutions, we help industrial companies solve complex measurement challenges using advanced 3D metrology technology. Our projects support customers in industries such as automotive, aviation and energy, where accurate measurements are essential for product quality and dimensional control.

As a Measurement Engineer, you will spend a significant part of your working time at customer sites, carrying out measurements on industrial components and products. Every project brings different parts, environments and technical challenges, making this a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys working with technology and solving practical problems.

You will travel to customer locations, prepare the necessary equipment, perform the measurements and ensure that the collected data meets the project requirements. Depending on the assignment, you will also process the data and prepare measurement reports.

What Will You Do?

Your work will combine practical measurement activities, technical analysis and customer contact.

  • Work at customer sites: Travel to industrial customers and perform measurements in their production facilities, workshops or other designated locations.
  • Prepare measurement projects: Understand the requirements of each assignment and select the appropriate equipment and measurement approach.
  • Operate advanced measurement systems: Use 3D measurement technology to capture the geometry of industrial components and products.
  • Evaluate the collected data: Process and check measurement data using specialized software to ensure reliable results.
  • Deliver quality results: Work accurately, verify your measurements and prepare clear reports where required.
  • Take care of your equipment: Ensure that measurement systems are properly handled, checked and maintained.
  • Work with customers and colleagues: Coordinate practical arrangements, discuss technical requirements and communicate project progress.
  • Build your expertise: Develop your knowledge of measurement systems, software and industrial applications through training and practical experience.

You will start by learning a specific measurement technology and its applications, supported by experienced colleagues. As your knowledge grows, you will have the opportunity to work with additional technologies and take on more complex projects.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for a technically minded person who enjoys practical work, is comfortable working at different customer locations and takes pride in delivering accurate results.

  • You have a Professional Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field, preferably electromechanics, industrial engineering or a related discipline.
  • You are interested in mechanical components, industrial processes and measurement technology.
  • You work carefully and systematically, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
  • You are comfortable using computers and are willing to learn specialized software.
  • You can take responsibility for your work while cooperating effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • You are flexible, practical and comfortable working in different industrial environments.
  • You are willing to travel extensively for customer projects, with more than 50% of your working time spent travelling or working away from our own facilities.
  • You have a valid Category B driving licence.
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch and English. French is an advantage.

Previous experience in metrology is not essential. We value technical aptitude, motivation and a willingness to learn. Experience or an interest in 3D scanning, CAD, 3D modelling, quality control or 3D printing is an advantage.

What Can You Expect from ARGON?

  • A varied technical job with frequent customer visits and exposure to different industrial environments.
  • The opportunity to work with advanced 3D measurement equipment and innovative technologies.
  • Training and guidance from experienced colleagues.
  • Exposure to a wide range of industrial projects, customers and applications.
  • A competitive salary and an attractive package of additional benefits.
  • A close‑knit team where technical knowledge, initiative and personal development are valued.
