WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As an IT Finance / Insurance Business Analyst, you act as a key interface between IT, Finance, Insurance Teams, and Business stakeholders. You will support the analysis, design, and implementation of technology solutions across both finance and wider business domains within an international environment.
Your first major assignment will be the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for the Finance domain across Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional analysis and produce high-quality functional designs.
- Analyze, challenge, and optimize business and financial processes.
- Translate business requirements into effective and scalable IT solutions.
- Contribute to ERP implementation and transformation projects, with a strong focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Execute database queries and support reporting activities using SQL and Business Intelligence tools.
- Work closely with development and IT delivery teams to ensure successful implementation and deployment.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and sparring partner for Finance and Business stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement of systems, processes, and business applications.
WHO ARE YOU?
You are an analytical and solution-oriented professional who enjoys working at the intersection of business, finance, insurance, and technology. You are capable of engaging with stakeholders at different levels and translating complex requirements into practical solutions.
Your Profile
- Minimum 8 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, IT Analyst, or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a significant advantage.
- Experience with B2C and B2B insurance platforms and contract management tools.
- Proven expertise in functional analysis and solution design.
- Strong SQL, data analysis, reporting, and Business Intelligence skills.
- Highly analytical mindset with strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in the insurance sector is considered a strong asset.
- Fluent English is essential. Knowledge of Dutch, French, or German is required; proficiency in multiple languages is a strong advantage.
- Willingness to travel occasionally across Europe.
