Function

Our client is looking for a medior software developer to contribute to the evolution and maintenance of core business applications. This opportunity is suited to someone who combines strong back-end development expertise with a solid understanding of application architecture, database management, and modern Microsoft technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain REST-based services and application interfaces across modern and legacy .NET environments.
  • Work on existing business applications, including corrective and evolutionary maintenance.
  • Apply design patterns in line with architectural guidance.
  • Support technical analysis, troubleshoot incidents, and help resolve complex issues efficiently.
  • Contribute to high-quality code delivery that is maintainable, performant, and aligned with team standards.
  • Collaborate with analysts, architects, and other developers in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Write and execute unit tests as part of the development lifecycle.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of UML and BPMN model interpretation.
  • Experience with SQL Server, from version 2016 up to 2025.
  • Experience managing Oracle Database 19.
  • Hands-on development with REST services in .NET Framework and .NET 8 or newer.
  • Experience with ASP.NET WebForms, MVC, and .NET 4.5+.
  • Ability to develop in XML and JSON.
  • Knowledge of W3C standards.
  • Experience with WebAPI, WCF REST, WCF, and web services.
  • Practical use of Azure DevOps, including Git and TFVC.
  • Experience with Entity Framework Core.
  • Knowledge of Redgate tools is an asset.

Practical Information

  • The team environment is predominantly French-speaking, so full fluency in French is required.
  • Working onsite 3 days per week is expected.
  • Language requirements: fluent French, with passive knowledge of Dutch and English.
