About the Role

We are looking for an Information Systems Technical Support professional to join our IT team in Genk.

This role is responsible for delivering high‑quality infrastructure and end‑user support across the business, ensuring systems, networks, and devices remain secure, reliable, and fully operational. Working closely with colleagues across IT and the wider organisation, you will support day‑to‑day technical operations while contributing to excellent customer service and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and business applications
• Troubleshoot and maintain servers, network infrastructure, hardware, and software environments
• Manage incidents and service requests through the IT Service Desk, ensuring service levels are achieved
• Provision, deploy, and maintain IT equipment while keeping accurate asset management records
• Support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Azure
• Assist with the administration and maintenance of Windows Server environments
• Monitor, update, document, and escalation technical issues where appropriate
• Support office equipment relocations and technology deployments in line with business requirements
• Ensure all activities comply with IT governance standards, company policies, and Health & Safety requirements
• Promote the effective use of IT tools and technologies across the business while delivering excellent customer service

Qualifications

• Experience in an IT Support, Service Desk, Desktop Support, or Infrastructure Support role
• Good understanding of Active Directory user administration
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Azure
• Experience supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments
• Experience supporting iOS, Android devices, and print services
• Understanding of network troubleshooting and connectivity issues
• Experience working with ITIL-based service desk or ticketing systems
• Working knowledge of Windows Server environments
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Preferred

• Experience with PowerShell, VBA, VBScript, or other Microsoft scripting technologies
• Advanced Windows Server administration experienceli>
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL (DBA and/or T‑SQL)
• Experience with Citrix or Windows Terminal Services
• Exposure to back‑end web‑based technologies
