About Our Client
A company within the Transport & Distribution industry, located in Zaventem.
Job Description
As a Warehouse Operative your responsibilities are:
- Coordinate and monitor incoming and outgoing shipments, inventory movements, and day-to-day logistics activities.
- Keep warehouse and transportation systems up to date with accurate operational data.
- Prepare and manage all necessary shipping, receiving, and dispatch documentation.
- Track shipments, stock levels, and fleet activities to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.
- Assist with daily warehouse activities, including goods receipt, storage, order picking, and shipment preparation.
- Identify and resolve routine issues related to deliveries, stock discrepancies, and transportation.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and traceability procedures are consistently followed.
- Work closely with Operations, Transportation, and Customer Service teams to maintain a high level of service.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency, accuracy, and inventory control.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Warehouse Operative should have:
- Previous experience in a logistics or warehouse environment.
- A proactive and organised approach to tasks.
- The ability to handle physical work in a busy setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety and operational procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- A valid forklift license is a plus but not mandatory.
What's on Offer
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, distribution, inventory control or transportation support.
- Supply Chain or logistics certifications (e.g., CSCP) are a plus.
Skills
- Knowledge of warehouse, inventory and transportation processes.
- Experience using warehouse management and logistics systems.
