Our client is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Junior Associate with a strong interest in the financial sector and an affinity for IT and digital solutions to join its Operations department.
The Operations department consists of approximately 60 colleagues based in Brussels and manages a broad range of services related to banking products and transactions.
These activities include post-trade processing, cash and payment services, portfolio transfers, tax services, income and corporate actions, and account administration.
As an Operations – Cash & Payments Junior Associate, you will:
- Process payment and treasury transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring high-quality data and excellent service to both internal and external clients.
- Perform operational support activities based on scheduled or ad hoc requests, including account closures, interest adjustments, reconciliation as well as investigation and controls on transactions
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new processes and systems, as well as the continuous improvement of existing ones, with the aim of increasing efficiency, complying with new regulations and market standards, and reducing operational risk.
- Proactively follow and integrate operational and procedural changes to keep your knowledge and expertise up to date.
- Participate in knowledge sharing and training, both receiving training from colleagues and sharing your own expertise across the department.
