Program Manager – Global Supply Chain

Heraeus Electro-Nite is seeking a hands-on Program Manager – Supply Chain to lead a strategic, multiyear supply chain optimization project at Heraeus Electro-Nite. This role will lead cross-site programs to strengthen and evolve our supply chain, including the development of production capabilities and facilities, and the overall manufacturing footprint.

Reporting to the VP Global Supply Chain Strategy, the role will closely work with local site leadership teams, global and corporate functions with the goal of building a cost-competitive, resilient, and best-in-class supply chain that ensures #we always deliver.

Your role and responsibilities:

Lead supply chain design and footprint optimization initiatives

• Identify improvement potentials by assessing capacity, capabilities, supply chain flows, and operational constraints.
• Conduct feasibility studies, scenario analysis, and business cases for production transfers, investments, outsourcing, or site relocation together with Global Supply Chain, Finance and local teams.
• Develop clear recommendations for management that balance cost competitiveness, resilience, service, capacity, quality, safety, compliance, and long-term strategic requirements.
• Translate approved production footprint decisions into practical implementation plans.

Drive program execution and governance

• Lead cross-functional project teams and influencing stakeholders. While operational ownership remains with local management, the role is accountable for project execution, governance, and delivery of agreed milestones.
• Develop and manage the overall project plan, budgets, milestones, risks, and deliverables.
• Establish effective project governance, reporting routines, risk management, and escalation processes.
• Act as the central coordination point between global functions, local management teams, and project workstreams within Heraeus Electro-Nite.
• Provide transparent progress to the management team and proactively resolve operational issues.
• Ensure delivery of agreed milestones on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standard.

Ensure safe, compliant and business-continuous implementation

• Ensure that Quality, EHS, legal, regulatory, permit, and compliance requirements are integrated into all project decisions and implementation plans.
• Work closely with Supply Chain, Process Engineering, Quality, EHS, Procurement, and Logistics to ensure implementation readiness.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with production transfers, facility changes, capacity constraints, outsourcing, relocation, and operational ramp-up.

Manage stakeholders and lead change

• Lead change management activities, including stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and adoption support to ensure successful implementation.
• Ensure close collaboration and alignment with all relevant stakeholder groups, including Heraeus Electro-Nite's shareholder, service providers and similar.
• Build effective working relationships with site leadership teams, global functions, senior management, and all relevant stakeholder groups.
• Support local management teams in implementing operational and organizational changes.

What is required fort his role:

• University degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a comparable discipline.
• 7 - 10 years of proven project management experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, preferably with senior-manager visibility.
• Strong supply chain and operations background, ideally involving production transfers or supply chain design optimization.
• Demonstrated experience leading manufacturing footprint optimization, plant consolidations, production transfers, outsourcing initiatives, or greenfield/brownfield projects.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority and successfully influence senior stakeholders
• Proven success working with all levels of management.
• Strong analytical skills and experience developing business cases and management recommendations.
• Comfortable working across functions, cultures, and international locations.
• Professional fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
