Energy consultant - business analyst / data analyst

Slo. is looking for an energy consultant with a solidtechnical background in engineering and a strong interest in data and businessanalysis. You’ll work on impactful projects in the energy sector, including:

• Smart Grid and Smart Metering
• Sustainable energy production andoptimization
• Energy market flexibility andadequacy
• Forecastingfor energy asset management
• Energy efficiency and digitaltransformation initiatives

Key responsibilities -

• Engage with stakeholders tounderstand business and technical requirements
• Translate business needs intofunctional and technical specifications
• Analyze and model currentprocesses, identifying opportunities for improvement
• Conduct gap and impact analysis
• Coordinate testing, deployment, andchange management activities
• Act as a bridgebetween business, IT, and engineering teams

What you will bring -

• Master’s Degree inElectromechanical, Mechanical, Industrial Electronics, or Energy Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years of experience inthe energy sector, preferably in consulting or project-based roles
• Strong analytical mindset with provenexperience in business or process analysis
• Familiarity with Smart Grid,metering systems, energy regulation, or market operations
• Programmingskills in Python or any other language are a plus

Language requirements -

• Fluency in French and/or Dutch,with a strong willingness to improve the second language
• Proficiencyin English is required

• Ability to work independently, meetdeadlines, and adapt to evolving project contexts
• Strong motivation to contribute tothe energy transition and the development of modern energy systems
• Excellent communication skills:ability to structure ideas, write concise documentation, and manage multipletopics simultaneously
