DevOps Production Engineer

CONTEXT

We are looking for a DevOps Production Engineer to support application production, infrastructure management, and automation within a hybrid project and operations (Run) environment.

You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of critical IT platforms while contributing to infrastructure industrialization and the continuous improvement of operational processes.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Manage application deployments into production environments in close collaboration with development teams.
• Administer, automate, and monitor cloud and hybrid infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP, or on-premises).
• Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and security of IT platforms.
• Automate infrastructure management, deployments, and monitoring processes.
• Monitor system performance through logs, alerts, and operational metrics.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and contribute to post-mortem reviews.
• Implement continuous improvements to enhance operational efficiency and infrastructure reliability.
• Apply ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to streamline production operations.

TOP SKILLS (MUST HAVE)

• Strong knowledge of ITIL processes, including incident, problem, and change management.
• Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or EasyVista.
• Solid administration skills in Linux and Windows environments.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
• Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
• Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Practical experience with at least one job scheduling tool, such as Control-M or AutoSys.
• Good understanding of middleware technologies such as WebLogic, Tomcat, and IBM MQ.
• Understanding of DevSecOps principles, clean code practices, and infrastructure automation.

BONUS SKILLS (NICE TO HAVE)

• Experience managing hybrid infrastructures combining cloud and on-premises environments.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and practices.
• Experience optimizing infrastructure performance, availability, and scalability.
• Familiarity with advanced logging, alerting, and monitoring practices.
• Experience contributing to infrastructure industrialization and operational process improvements.
• Knowledge of post-incident analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
