Field Application Engineer

JUMO Belgium is looking for a Field Application Engineer in Eupen to support the development of customized technical solutions in instrumentation and automation. The role combines technical support, project management, and close collaboration with sales teams and customers. The candidate conducts technical visits, coordinates projects with internal departments and headquarters, and contributes to business development as well as continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has a background in electrical or electromechanical engineering, with knowledge of measurement and control systems being an asset. Good command of French and English is required. The candidate is proactive, solution-oriented, organized, able to work independently and in teams, and passionate about engineering and innovation.

Your role

As a FAE, you act as a key technical partner for both the sales team and customers. You are involved in technical support, project coordination, and the development of customized solutions (instrumentation & automation).

Your responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the sales teams (in collaboration with Engineering)
• Carry out technical visits at customer sites
• Coordinate projects with internal departments and headquarters
• Collaborate with marketing to support business development
• Participate in internal meetings and product training sessions
• Contribute to continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives

Your profile

• Technical background (A2 electromechanics or Bachelor in electrotechnics)
• Knowledge of measurement & control (instrumentation) is an asset
• Good command of French and English
• Knowledge of Dutch and/or German is a plus
