About Our Client
Our client is a well-established company operating within an international environment. Known for its customer-focused approach and operational excellence, the company is looking to strengthen its Supply Chain department with a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing & Supply Chain Officer.
Job Description
As a Purchasing & Supply Chain Officer, you will provide key administrative support to the purchasing and supply chain teams and help ensure an efficient and reliable supply process.
Your responsibilities include:
- Processing and monitoring purchase orders and supplier information
- Following up on delivery schedules and supplier commitments
- Ensuring accurate data management within the ERP system
- Identifying and reporting supply-related issues or discrepancies
- Supporting Supply Chain Planners with backorders and ongoing deliveries
- Assisting the sales team with product availability and lead-time inquiries
- Maintaining smooth communication between suppliers and internal departments
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of supply chain processes
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience
- Initial experience in purchasing, supply chain, logistics administration or a similar role
- Fluent in Dutch with a good professional knowledge of French and English
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Good Excel skills
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities
- Accurate, structured and detail-oriented
- Proactive and solution-driven mindset
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
