Description du poste

As a Data Consultant in Brussels, you will contribute to the growth of mc2i in Belgium and work with a major client – a key player in the energy sector – on strategic projects.

You will bring your expertise in Data (Dataiku, Databricks, etc.) and programming (SQL, Python, etc.) to all phases of the project: analysis and design, deployment and coordination, tests, change management/project adoption.

Responsabilités

• Gathering and analyzing stakeholder needs.
• Identifying and benchmarking solutions that meet the needs.
• Evaluating the impact of the proposed solution on the user process and system maintenance.
• Identifying functional and technical dependencies within the system and with others (upstream, downstream dependencies).
• Supporting development teams during the design phase and ensuring that functional/technical specifications comply with the proposed solution and business requirements.
• Preparing and carrying out tests of the solutions once delivered by the development team and providing all necessary documentation (test plan, tracking tool, incident management, etc.).
• Assisting users in preparing communication and training plans, as well as in creating and leading workshops and training sessions.
• Managing these Data projects from end to end, from defining business needs to their implementation.
• Reporting to a local Manager, you will benefit from the project management expertise of mc2i and the feedback from our employees.
• Being involved in our publications (blogs, press), recruitment of new talent, and commercial activity of our firm.

Votre profil

• Looking for a permanent contract (CDI) in the consulting field in Brussels.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in DATA.
• Skills in Data Analysis, Data Engineering, Data Visualization.
• Desirable mastery of Python and SQL.
• Mastery of at least two of: Dataiku, Databricks, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB.
• Mastery of at least one of: PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker.
• Initial experience in the energy sector is desirable.
• Knowledge of AI appreciated.
• Passion for new technologies and their evolution, willing to join a dynamic and growing team to work on high‑value‑added projects in the energy sector.
• Initial experience in consulting is an asset but not mandatory.
• Fluency in English and French.
