We're looking for a Junior Data Analyst to join our factoring business and play a key role in supporting strategic projects across data quality, credit insurance, risk management, and regulatory initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a career at the intersection of data analytics, risk, and financial regulation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Analyse and interpret data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities
- Transform raw data into actionable insights through reporting, visualisation, and ad hoc analyses
- Perform data quality controls and help drive continuous improvement in data governance
- Execute and write SQL queries to support business and regulatory needs
- Document business processes, data controls, and business requirements
- Support projects related to risk management, credit insurance, and regulatory compliance
- Contribute to the implementation and remediation of regulatory recommendations
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to improve processes and reporting capabilities
What We're Looking For
Master's degree in a quantitative field such as:
- Economics
- Mathematics
- Statistics
- Data Analytics
- Or a related discipline
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Basic SQL knowledge and experience working with data
Ability to document processes and requirements clearly and accurately
Fluent in Dutch and English French is a strong advantage
Nice to Have
Knowledge of Basel IV and CRR regulatory frameworks
Experience with SAS or other analytical tools
Understanding of risk management or financial services
