Position: Solution Architect
Responsibilities
As a Solution Architect Consultant at Phinest, you will design and deliver scalable, secure and sustainable IT solutions aligned with business requirements and enterprise architecture.
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions
- Design end‑to‑end solution architectures across applications, systems and technologies
- Define solution architecture, technical standards and integration patterns
- Evaluate technologies and provide technical recommendations
- Ensure solutions are aligned with security, performance, scalability and maintainability requirements
- Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, infrastructure teams and project managers
- Support development teams throughout the implementation lifecycle
- Review technical designs and ensure architectural consistency and quality
- Identify technical risks, dependencies and opportunities for improvement and optimization
Skills and Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Software Architecture or a related role
- Strong knowledge of application architecture, integration and distributed systems
- Experience with APIs, SOA, microservices, cloud and/or enterprise integration
- Good understanding of security, data, infrastructure and modern technology trends
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into pragmatic technical solutions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced and changing environment
- Experience with Agile / DevOps environments is a plus
- Architecture certifications such as TOGAF or equivalent are a plus
- French and English fluent, Dutch is an asset
