What you will do

We are a trusted partner in remote surveillance and an established player in the security market. To strengthen our team in Brussels, we are looking for a System Support Engineer to support operations of our Monitoring Alarm Receiving Centre (MARC).

How you will do it

  • Provide comprehensive technical support for the Monitoring Alarm Receiving Centre to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Install, configure, and support new technologies and system enhancements.
  • Contribute to continuous performance improvement initiatives across the department.
  • Allocate and coordinate internal and external technical resources.
  • Maintain clear and regular communication with management regarding technical topics and progress.
  • Coordinate and support data protection compliance activities.
  • Ensure technical support services meet corporate and company standards.
  • Support technical projects within defined budgets and timelines.
  • Maintain a secure and organized working environment ("clean desk" policy).

What we look for

Required

  • Solid knowledge of Linux and Windows Server environments.
  • In-depth understanding of networking.
  • Fluent in Dutch/Flemish and English, and intermediate French.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and manage stressful situations effectively.
  • Responsible attitude and time flexibility.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of the electronic security industry and relevant industry certifications.
  • Experience with databases.
  • Familiarity with systems used in Customer Monitoring Centres (e.g., MASterMind, video surveillance platforms).
  • Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 processes and INCERT quality certification requirements.
