As a Laboratory Technician in Madrid (Spain ), you support the smooth day-to-day running of the laboratory by managing equipment readiness, supplies and practical laboratory operations. You work closely with scientific teams and support functions in Madrid, helping to keep laboratory activities safe, compliant and fully operational while developing your expertise in a regulated environment.

Zoom on the job:follow all relevant GxP regulations, guidelines and company policiesperform tasks in line with SOPs, work instructions and internal documentationapply Good Documentation Practices and Data Integrity requirementscomplete mandatory training and requalification activities within defined timelinesreceive, inspect and manage laboratory consumables and chemical reagentsmaintain inventory levels and monitor product shelf lifeensure correct labelling, storage and handling of chemicalsorganise laboratory and office waste management activitiescoordinate dry ice ordering and distribution for laboratory teamsmonitor and arrange replacement of compressed gas cylinders with external suppliersoversee lab coat distribution and laundry servicescoordinate laboratory moves, equipment installations and space reconfigurationscollaborate with scientific teams, Facilities, EHS and IT departmentstrack project progress, maintain documentation and support post-installation verificationCome as you are, ideally with:Higher Vocational Training in Laboratory Studies or a university degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or a related scientific fieldknowledge of chemical handling, storage and waste managementexperience in laboratory operations, technical services or facility support within a research or regulated environmentfamiliarity with equipment qualification and validation processes is an advantageability to maintain accurate records and work with controlled documentationorganised, reliable and hands-on approach with strong collaboration skillsability to coordinate multiple operational priorities and work effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholdersfluent in English and SpanishWhat if you became Laboratory Technician at Equans?For you this means:a market rate salary in line with your education and experienceinteresting training and career opportunitiesgroup insurance, hospitalization insuranceeco vouchers, meal vouchers, 13th month, holiday paybicycle lease plan, concessionary travelsmartphone with subscription, internet feeadditional paid leave, seniority leave, homeworkingdiscounts through Benefits@Work (culture, sports, travel, and more)
