Transportplanner

As an IT Transport Planner, you will be responsible for organising, coordinating and monitoring day-to-day transport operations within an international context. You will ensure that transport operations run efficiently, liaise with the relevant parties and take proactive action when operational challenges arise.

Your responsibilities:

• You are responsible for the day-to-day planning and coordination of transport orders.
• You ensure the efficient deployment of available drivers, vehicles and means of transport.
• You liaise with drivers, transport partners, terminals and internal departments.
• You actively monitor ongoing shipments and make adjustments when delays, changes or other issues arise.
• You quickly find practical solutions to unexpected situations.
• You ensure the correct administrative processing and follow-up of transport operations.
• You help to ensure a smooth and efficient service and good communication between all parties involved.

Als transportplanner heb je de onderstaande eigenschappen op zak:

• Je hebt bij voorkeur een eerste werkervaring binnen een logistieke of operationele omgeving;
• Je werkt nauwkeurig en gestructureerd en weet prioriteiten te stellen;
• Je beschikt over goede communicatieve vaardigheden en kunt je vlot uitdrukken in Italiaan & Engels, andere talen zijn een mooie meerwaarde maar geen vereiste;
• Je bent sociaal, klantgericht en werkt graag samen met verschillende collega’s en partners;
• Je bent stressbestendig, flexibel en behoudt ook in dynamische of onverwachte situaties het overzicht;
• Je denkt proactief mee en bent sterk in het zoeken naar praktische oplossingen.
