Sr Manager EMEA Advocacy & Regulatory Intelligence

Ansell is looking for a Sr Manager EMEA Advocacy & Regulatory Intelligence to join our team Brussels, Belgium

The role will lead regulatory intelligence, strategy support, and external advocacy for PPE and Medical Devices across the EMEA region, ensuring alignment with evolving regulations and standards. It plays a key role in shaping global regulatory strategy in partnership with global leadership, while actively monitoring and influencing regulatory developments. Additionally, the role translates regulatory requirements into actionable plans and provides strong internal and external leadership through stakeholder engagement, training, and customer-facing initiatives such as webinars.

What your role will be?

  • Support global regulatory strategy with EMEA-specific insights, intelligence, and impact assessments.
  • Contribute to regulatory roadmaps, priorities, and forward-looking strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Lead regulatory intelligence and standards monitoring for PPE and MD across EMEA.
  • Analyze and communicate evolving regulations, standards, and guidance proactively.
  • Provide expert regulatory advice to cross-functional stakeholders across regions.
  • Anticipate regulatory trends and assess impact on product portfolios and market access.
  • Represent the company and influence regulations through engagement with authorities, standards bodies, and industry associations.
  • Participate in working groups, panels, and advocacy initiatives.
  • Support development of position papers and advocacy strategies.
  • Act as a recognized regulatory voice within the EMEA region.
  • Translate complex regulations into clear, actionable guidance.
  • Support cross-functional teams on compliance pathways and product lifecycle activities.
  • Deliver internal training and act as a key escalation point for regulatory topics.
  • Promote consistent interpretation and application of regulatory requirements.
  • Partner on implementation of new and evolving regulatory changes.
  • Design and deliver customer-facing webinars and presentations.
  • Support customer discussions on regulatory topics and standards.
  • Strengthen the company’s reputation as a trusted regulatory partner.
  • Lead regulatory intelligence, advocacy, and lobbying in key EMEA markets.
  • Monitor developments and provide advisory support across additional regional markets.

What will you bring to Ansell?

Education

  • Proven ability to lead global or multi-regional teams in complex, matrixed environments.
  • Experience engaging directly with regulators, policymakers, and standards-setting bodies at both regional and international levels.

Job Experience

  • Preferably 7-10 years of experience in regulatory affairs, public policy, advocacy, or government relations within a global organization.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Deep understanding of global regulatory frameworks and policy-making systems.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical capability, and business acumen.
  • Executive-level communication skills, including the ability to deliver Board-ready briefings.
  • Strong influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills across cultures and geographies.
  • Fluency in English and Dutch.
