Ghent University invites a PhD candidate to join the RECRAFT project, focusing on nature-based riverbank protection in estuaries. You will develop innovative wave-attenuating structures, model their performance and validate them through experiments and field measurements.
You will work with leading industry and research partners and publish findings in journals and at conferences, with potential teaching and supervision opportunities. The contract spans up to 4 years, starting 1 January 2027.
