Position Overview
As a Full Stack Developer (MERN), you will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle, from planning and design to development, testing, and launching applications. We are looking for someone with a strong technical background who can work independently and bring innovative ideas to life. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause while working with a supportive and dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, test, and launch web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code to ensure high-quality performance.
- Maintain and improve existing applications to ensure scalability and functionality.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our tech stack.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers (if applicable).
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in Full Stack Development, specifically with the MERN stack.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, React Native, MongoDB, Node JS and related web technologies.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, database architecture, and cloud services.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
